MID49 Base Kit for Canon C400

Base Kit for Canon C400 is an accessory kit that includes:

• Top Plate (Canon C400)

Attaches to the top of the camera and provides 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with ARRI accessory pins, M4x20mm ARRI standard threaded holes, and includes an adapter for attaching Canon’s original C400 top handle (ARRI 3/8-16 to Canon Striped Rosette / Canon Mic Mount). When not using the adapter for Canon’s handle, it can be positioned on the Top Plate to provided mounting points for Canon’s included microphone shock mount.

• ARCA Top Handle

Sliding camera handle that has 1/4-20, 3/8-16 with ARRI locating pins, and M4x20mm threaded holes plus two hot shoe mounts.

• Baseline 15mm LW (Canon C400)

Quick-release 15mm LW baseplate with ARCA Swiss camera dovetail interface on top and ARRI standard dovetail interface on the bottom.

• Single 15mm Rod Clamp (M4 x 20mm)

Attaches by two M4 screws spaced 20mm apart, center to center, and is great for attaching lens motors in a compact configuration.

Add on the optional Breakout Boxes and Side Plate Bundle for Canon C400 which includes:

• Breakout Side Plate for Canon C400

Attaches to the ARRI rosette on the side of the camera and provides a 15mm rod clamp for attaching lens motors, a female ARRI rosette for attaching Canon’s handgrip, and a breakout box mounting area with 1/4-20’s and recessed cable loops

• Audio Breakout AB-10 (Canon C400) is a passive adapter that converts the camera’s two mini XLRs using a custom, low-profile connection to two standard, full-size XLRs.
• DIN Timecode Genlock Breakout EB-10 (Canon C400) converts the DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors using a custom, low-profile connection to standard BNCs for Timecode and Genlock.

Also included is a 1/4-20 knurled knob for attaching Canon’s microphone shock mount to the top of the breakout panel.
