+3 Diopter Close-UP Lens in filter tray

Fits directly into 6.6×6.6″ matte boxes

Created for cinematography, our tray mount close up lenses can be quickly inserted in the matte box to focus closer than can be achieved by the cine lens in use. The +3 Diopter Tray Mount Close-Up Lens uses a 158mm diameter +3 diopter plano convex lens mounted in a filter tray designed to fit in 6.6″ x 6.6″ Matte Boxes.  A broad band multi-layer anti-reflection coating (MC Coating) helps to minimize flare and ghost reflections.

The filter tray is 22.5mm thick and requires three undivided slots in the matte box.

There are 1/4 20 threaded holes on the camera side of the filter tray that allow mounting on flex arms so that the lens can be tilted for creative effects.
