Changeable optics is the key innovation in Orbiter. With a wide variety of optics to choose from, Orbiter transforms into the perfect light for your application without sacrificing beam, output, or color fidelity. The Orbiter’s Quick Lighting Mount (QLM) allows optics with vastly different properties to be connected to the fixture, providing a tailored experience for any lighting project.

Mounting at ease & in seconds

Orbiter’s Quick Lighting Mount (QLM) lets you connect an assortment of different optics to the fixture. QLM is a universal adapter that provides a direct mounting point for Orbiter-specific optics and accessories. With versatility built in, Orbiter is an investment in time efficiency and performance, as a single fixture suits multiple applications.
By using the ARRI Docking Ring, a wide range of compatible third-party optics from various manufacturers can also be attached.

Orbiter Beam

The Orbiter Beam provides a defined and strong 4° parallel and homogenous beam of light. It is an ideal option for creating the illusion of natural light from a distance. A new optical concept, present in the reflector, allows for high intensity at full color spectrum making the Orbiter Beam the brightest full color LED spot light.

Orbiter Projection Optics

The Orbiter Projection Optics 25° and 35° provide unparalleled precision in every detail, allowing for crisp projection of a light spot, as well as immaculate gobo projection and precise shutter cuts. The field of light is entirely even and without color aberration.

Orbiter Fresnel Lens

The Orbiter Fresnel Lens creates a precise light spot with a soft single shadow. It delivers true Fresnel output with a real Gaussian field of light. The large zoom range of 15 to 65° is fully motorized and allows easy control locally or remotely. A status LED display shows the current zoom angle.

Use third-party optics with the Orbiter Docking Ring

The world of Orbiter is even bigger and more flexible with the Orbiter Docking Ring. This innovative adapter allows third-party optics to be used with the Orbiter. With the Docking Ring, users can mount optics from other manufacturers on the Orbiter, providing alternatives to the ARRI optics while still benefiting from ARRI lighting quality.

Connecting a new world of options

The Orbiter now offers even more possibilities than before with the innovative Orbiter Docking Ring. This accessory enhancement expands the lighting designers’ and DP’s toolbox even further. The new tool allows for the application of already-owned third-party optics on the Orbiter as an alternative to ARRI optics while still benefiting from the quality and power of ARRI lighting.
