Cine Equipment is the only dealer in Singapore offering film archival solutions. We carry film scanners and accessories from two brands — Vintage Cloud and CTM. Vintage Cloud is a world leader in the technologies required to ensure fast and safe digitization and restoration of valuable film archives. Founded in 2012, Vintage Cloud has its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is committed to developing cost-effective, innovative and intuitive solutions designed for the delicate task of film digitisation. The Steenbeck company in Venray, Holland is a part of Vintage Cloud Steenbeck company. Its Steenbeck Digitizer is the only system capable of digitizing separate image and audio at the same time up to 4K resolution and up to 60 fps, at 3-5 times less costly per digitized hour than other high-end systems. A family business with nearly 100 years of experience in the creative industry, CTM works to provide creation and storage solutions for audiovisual media across all industries. CTM Andre Debrie, a film equipment department of CTM Group, offers a complete range of film equipment: inspection and rewinding tables, traditional and digital viewing table, cleaning machines, restoration equipment and scanners.
Repair and Servicing (Lights, Cameras and lenses)
With Cine Equipment, you never have to worry about after-sales services. Our technicians are qualified and highly experienced in repairing lights, cameras and lenses. If you wish to repair your equipment, please call or email us to make arrangements. All our branch offices provide free evaluation, and the items will subsequently be sent to our Singapore or Melbourne offices for repair. Our Singapore office handles camera repair, lighting repairs, and repair of lenses. Our technician in Melbourne offers repair services for lenses.
Product Training
Cine Equipment is committed to ensuring that every customer is wholly satisfied with their purchase. We understand the pains of having to read through a thick manual and trying to figure out how to operate equipment. As such, we conduct product training for selected equipment in collaboration with our suppliers.
Installation and Commissioning of Studios
Cine Equipment provides turnkey solutions for studios and theatres. We will assist you with advice on the design layout, selection and installation of appropriate equipment to suit your specific needs, and finally assist you in installing your new studio. Our sales representatives are well-versed in professional product knowledge and have ample experience in the field, so we are confident in fulfilling all your needs. We recognise that every project is unique and each of our customers’ are different. As such, please speak to us directly regarding the installation of new studios.
Customised bags and sandbags
Cine Equipment offers affordable customised bags and sandbags, available for local retail in Singapore. Simply send us the dimensions of your equipment — be it lights, cameras, professional camera accessories or others — and our seamstress will be on it. You may also bring along your equipment to our office during operation hours for our seamstress to do the measurements. Our prices, starting from SGD45 depending on the dimensions of your equipment, are definitely one of the most affordable you can find in Singapore. Our sandbags come in standard sizes of 5kg, 8kg and 10kg and are made of high quality durable cordura material. For customised weights, don’t hesitate to contact us.

A Word From Our CEO
Cine Equipment was established in 1995 in a small office warehouse in Singapore as a distribution company for major film, lighting, and video equipment. As markets and technology changed over the years, we diversified our business into the digital and broadcast professional equipment segment. Our operations have since expanded into Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines.
As the world moves further into the age of digitization, we have also expanded our business into the film preservation and restoration sector to help customers save costs while being able to monetize their film archives. Cine Equipment partners with Vintage Cloud Steenbeck and the CTM group, representing them in most parts of the Asia Pacific region.
Today, we are the leading dealers and distributors for more than 50 brands of film, lighting, digital, broadcast, and archive technology equipment. We are well known in our markets as a one-stop shop for the best value and highest quality equipment.

Definitely! Simply drop us a visit during office hours. We’re open 10am-5pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays. Do give us a call beforehand, to make sure that the item you’re interested to view is in stock.
Some of our products come with a 1 year warranty, please retain your original proof of purchase with the serial number of your item stipulated so we can arrange warranty repairs for you. However, we will need to evaluate your items to determine whether the fault is due to manufacturer defects or accidental in nature. Free warranty repairs only apply for items with manufacturing faults.
The repair duration varies based on the items you’re sending in for repair, its condition, as well as the availability of spare parts in our office. Please get in touch with one of our branch offices should you need a quotation for service repair.
